Greta-isms and Leo's 4mo 15day stats.

Greta has been killin' it lately.  She is so funny.  Her vocabulary is growing quickly but sometimes he mouth can't keep up with her brain.  I love this age!  (ALMOST 3!?)

Anna: Greta, please eat your blueberries.
G: Why?
A: They'll help you do your exercises and running at stroller class.  They're a super food!
G: No, mommy.  They're just food.  A fine food.

G: Are we at Price Chopper?
A: Yes.
G: Can we live at Price Chopper?
A: haha- you mean, can we go to Price Chopper?
G.  Yeah.  (smiles like she knows that was funny).

A: Want to go for a walk with Norris?
G: Yes!
A: Actually, let's half a little milk first and a walk with Norris second.  (first time I heard her use the words actually- very cute and funny)

G: Leo, don't be noisy.  Be shy.

This one was a strange thing to say while we were living at Price Chopper- happily because we got the little car cart.
G: Sometimes I want to bonk Leo on the head.
A: Why?
G: (smiles) Because I'm a bad girl.
A: You're not a bad girl.  It would hurt Leo if you bonked him on the head and you don't want to hurt him because you love him, right?
G:  Yeah.

But she said this again to me and one of my friends.  I think she's just testing how it feels to want to be bad.  Or just knowing that will get some attention.  ACTUALLY, she is very loving and kind to Leo at all times.  It's heartwarming!

Speaking of Leo- he is a charmer!  He did well at his 4 month check up on 6/6.  He weighed in at 16lbs 14.5oz.... so just under 17 pounds.  He was 26 1/4" long.  Roughly 70 and 80th percentile, respectively.  He is sleeping very well too.  He goes down around 7pm-sleeps until 4am, eats, and goes back to sleep until around 9.  It's a nice schedule for me.  Even though getting up at 4 is hard. it's quick and then I have some morning time with just Greta.
