Leo turns 2!

(7/14/15- I am making an effort to keep the blog alive after almost a year hiatus.  I will be pre-dating each post in an effort to forget this time lapse in blogging.  So, first things first- Leo's 2nd birthday!)

Leo turned two years old on January 22, 2015.  We were just getting a taste for the intensity of the winter (over 100" total) but his party was a success on the weekend following his birthday.  People were even able to make it up our crazy driveway!

He is such a fun little guy.  First, you notice his undeniable cuteness.  The blonde blonde hair, blue eyes, smooth skin, and kissable chubby cheeks.  Then you hear the sweetest voice- sometime high, sometimes low, usually happy!  His vocabulary really took off around 21 months and he is doing so well verbally.  He keeps us laughing and is having a lot of fun trying to keep up with Greta.  Here are some of his stats:

Leo @ 2 years old:
~34" tall
29 pounds
Loves fruit (and most other foods)
Interested in anything with wheels especially construction vehicles.
Still sucks his two right middle fingers and prefers to have his snuggly blanket with him.
Sleeps 7pm-7am with a ~2 hour nap in the middle of the day
Loves to be outside and help with any yard work.
Would rather shovel snow than go sledding.
500+ words!

Here are some shots from his fun construction themed birthday party.
